From invitation to the front door
Guardian follows the same careful routine every day, so nobody has to remember the rules under pressure at the gate.
Everyone is invited, nobody signs up
-
The school is set up
Guardian creates a private workspace for your school and invites its School Super Administrator.
-
Staff and parents are invited
Each person gets one email with a personal link. Owners and administrators also set up an authenticator app.
-
Families are linked
The school links each parent to their own children only. Names that look alike are never merged automatically.
Parents choose the adults they trust
A pickup person needs a name, a phone number and a photo. The parent chooses the children and how long the permission lasts. Guardian creates a five-digit code; parents never pick the number.
- Temporary for one day, or regular on chosen weekdays and times
- Codes are unique within the school and never reused for a year

Check the code, compare the photo, hand over
The visiting adult gives the code to a staff member on a supervised device. Guardian shows their photo and only the children they may collect today. Staff select the children physically present and record the handover.
- Guardian rechecks rights, restrictions and earlier releases at the final tap
- A wrong code reveals nothing; repeated failures alert the school

Transport and journeys, honestly reported
For school vans, drivers mark children on board and staff confirm the release. Journey location comes from an adult's phone, and Guardian always says so: a missing location update never means a child has arrived.
- Sharing ends per child at handover to the family
- Parents confirm arrival, or report a concern, separately
